CPL Filter to Remove Dashboard Glare
The CPL (Circular Polarizing Lens) is used to reduce reflections and glare from the window glass and road surfaces that can otherwise damage image quality, this works in the same way as a high end polarized sunglasses. Please buy it separately by searching "CPL filter for 70mai A810" on Amazon.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to manually start recording?
Each time the recorder is turned on, if there is an available Micro SD card, it will automatically start recording (normal videos), so the user does not need to manually start recording.
Can the recorder be used without external power supply?
The recorder has a built-in battery, but it is only used to supply power for final video storage when the power is turned off and during parking monitoring. It is not recommended to use the recorder without an external power supply. When the recorder screen prompts “Low battery; please connect the charging cord”, please plug in the charging cord.
How do I know whether the recorder is recording normally?
When a video is being recorded normally, the indicator remains solid green, and the red dot in the upper left corner of the screen flashes.
How long is the duration of a normal video?
A standard normal video is 1-minute long. However, you can set up the video duration to 2-3 minutes based on your requirements.
What is the length of an emergency video?
An emergency video is a normal video that is being recorded plus another 30s. Therefore, its minimum length is 31 seconds, and its maximum length is 1 minute and 30 seconds.
How do I start ADAS automatic calibration?
When the ADAS function is enabled, each time the recorder is turned on, no matter the car speed is faster than 20 km/h, automatic calibration will be stared activated. The calibration process may last for 5~8 minutes, during which you should maintain a speed of more than 20 km as much as possible. After the calibration succeeds, it will not be re-activated during the drive.
Do I need to manually turn on/off the recorder in my car?
There is no need to manually turn on/off the recorder. Every time the car is started (i.e. the cigarette lighter port is power on), the recorder will automatically turn on.

The first accessory or rather and important add–on after getting new car was Dashcam. I have been using basic model of 70mai Dashcam in my previous car and it did serve me well. So rather than researching on new brand, I simply went ahead with the latest model of 70mai Dual Channel Dashcam. The camera quality and video quality is quite good as they use the latest Sony Sensor. There are few things I would like to mention as improvement areas
1. When using hardwire kit, there is no battery protection switch available to shut off Parking Surveillance mode after the battery drops down to certain level. This is a show stopper as using Parking Surveillance mode without this protection drains the battery – I have seen this myself and was confirmed by the installer during installation that it would be better to turn off Parking Surveillance mode.
2. The circular polariser filter available is pretty useless so best to avoid it as it introduces weird light leaks in the footage.
Apart from above 2 points rest of the Dashcam functions as it should be and the application to use the Dashcam is simple. Now coming to the seller part – the cost of the Dashcam was lowest with Nexdigitron compared to other online sources like Amazon etc. They also helped me with getting the contact details of the installer as I wanted someone who will do a clean job and has good experience in installation of the Dashcam (Hard Wire Part and installation of Rear Dashcam).
The delivery was on time. Overall happy with the service.
The dash cam A810 was very good. All the required accessories for it were available with nexdigitron. The order was delivered in 2 days as i did an online payment. There was an immediate response when i contacted them through whatsapp. I got the cpl filter and hardwire kit which is available with them. The price was also little low compared to amazon. I recently purchased the 70MAI A810 4K Dual Dashcam from Nexdigitron. This compact and sleek dashcam offers high-quality video recording in stunning 4K resolution, ensuring clear and detailed footage of the road ahead.

After a lot of research and a local search from auto accessories shops, I ordered the 70MAI A810 4K Dual Dashcam from Nexdigitron. I was very impressed with their very responsive customer support both on WhatsApp and telephonically. They not only helped me with placing the order but also arranged for a CPL filter along with my order even though it showed currently not available. The order arrived within four days. I seperately ordered a recommended Samsung 128GB EVO Pro Ultimate A2 SD card.
I had the installation done on my Maruti Suzuki Invicto at a local accessories shop. The Mechanic who installed it was a skilled technician who had undertaken many dashcam installations. The installation used the front 12V socket. All Wires neatly tucked away behind the panels without any wire cutting. I had not opted for the parking kit to avoid warranty issues.
I had previously downloaded the 70MAI app on my phone. Once the instalation was completed, the SD card was installed and the CPL filter was fitted on the front camera lens. The 12V charger was then plugged into the socket and the camera switched on. The app was then linked to the camera through its wifi hotspot. Seeing that the cameras worked satisfactorily, the first operation was to format the SD card on the device. Thia was done from the app. Then the CPL filter was adjusted. There are many videos to do this on youtube.
The next operation was to push the camera firmware update which was downloaded on the app.
The camera front and rear lens positions were adjusted for the best view.
Once all systems were fully operational I took a test drive.
Excellent video coverage from both the front and rear cameras. In fact far from the the reviews of the lower resolution rear camera I received an excellent quality recording with registration plates of rear following vehicles clearly visible.
I strongly recommend this affordable yet high end 4K dual dashcam. Trust their customer support is going to be good over the life of the camera. Looking forward to exploit and enjoy this camera on my future trips.
